We are looking for a Project Engineer
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering
DUTIES:
Perform comprehensive engineering analysis to plan and design large-scale facilities and structures
Develop model transfer protocol from REVIT 3-D models to SDS/2 Steel Detailing 3-D models.
Develop RISA 3-D engineering design models from information shown SDS/2 Steel detailing 3-D models and from REVIT 3-D models
Capable of participating in all our Building-Information-Modeling (BIM) coordination meetings.
Provide Steel Connection engineering services in SDS/2 Steel Detailing Software for all: Shear bars, double angles, single sided angles, moment connections, welded, bolted and all configuration
Develop and engineer high seismic steel connections for moment connections
Develop and engineer Vertical and horizontal bracing connections in both REVIT and
SDS/2. All connections are to be 100% compliant with CNC (computer-Numerical-Control) fabrication process
Use design software to plan and design structures in line with industry and model is a multitude of various 3-D models to allow for engineering/design transfers and back and forth between design and fabrication software programs
